Dude.. sweet!

MackerelSalad responds:

What does mine say?!

Nice

The beat you made with the distorted tunes really fits when the melody kicks in. The video game style is very good and catchy. The only thing I would consider is making the distorted beat a little less distorted or put a lighter beat under it. Well..like i said it also kinda fits in:)
Keep up the swell producing.

DooganFreebish responds:

Cool, thanks! I can't really take away distortion or make a lighter beat under distortion. These beats aren't really drums but glitch samples from old circuit bent toys or waves made from .exe files on my computer that sounded good. That's really the odd part about experimental ambient for me is that I only have part of the control of the musics outcome. The sounds have the rest of the control giving the music something of a personality of it's own, much like the generative method I used in Generative C. What it comes down to is I'd like to produce music that sounds different to everyone who hears it. The only way I can think to do that is to be a bit abstract yet keep the basic foundations of "catchy beat" and/or "kick ass melody". Thanks for positive support!

aight

Dude, this song really spaces my mind.i have seen the shit you've put in this song and even seen a bit of the progress, so i can say that this song is master. all the patterns and the samples you used worked out really good. when the second part kickes in the song gets a whole new sound and takes you away. By far the best track i've heard of you.

p.s. i am not a sweater

MackerelSalad responds:

lol, your stuff atm is soooo much nicer than mine (check him out, guys!)
